Närvijoki Village Association

The Village Association's mission is to engage local residents in the development of their area and organize various events, taking into account the age range of the community.

Närvijoki Village Association was founded in 1999. The members are the residents of the village.

The recreation area's swimming pool was the starting point for the Village Association. Initial funding for the construction of the pool was obtained from the Jurva Municipality in 1997.

The operations and maintenance of the recreation area are carried out through volunteer work. The revenue is used for the development of the area.

From 2021 to 2024, the recreation area was developed with Leader funding. The area has also been developed through other Leader projects in the past.

The Board consists of eight members.
